UW-Stout Gymnastics Camps

Summer Camps Welcome Letter

We are happy to announce your acceptance into this summer’s 2020 Gymnastics Camp at UW-Stout. Should you have any further questions about camp related information, please call or email. We look forward to seeing you soon!!

1.) Registration and camp will take place in the Multi-purpose room (indoor track of the sports and fitness center). Check in is 10:00 a.m. – 11:30am. on Monday for all campers. Plan for check in to take 1.5-2 hours for overnight campers – parents will help their daughters get unpacked and settled in their dorms. The cafeteria will begin serving meals Monday night, please bring a lunch to have during check in. A complete schedule of workout activities will be given at Check-In. Check-out for both weeks is on Friday at 11:30am after our morning show, the show will start at 11am and conclude at approx. 11:30am. We invite parents to come to the show where your gymnasts will be performing their new skills and improved technique they learned during the week! The campers will also showcase and perform their dances they’ve learned with their groups. It will be an exciting week and a great show! ☺

2.) Roommate selection - The university policies only allow two people per room. If you have no roommate preference, a roommate of the same age will be assigned. If both campers requested each other and there is a match, they will automatically be paired together. If three campers request one another we will do our best to assign rooms next to each other.

3.) An important reminder (overnight campers) is to bring a fan for your room. There is also a refrigerator-microwave unit in each room so plan accordingly. Overnight campers will be provided with 3 meals per day in the campus dining facility. Day campers are provided lunch every day, except Monday they will be provided dinner. Day campers bring tennis shoes on Tuesday for the Ropes Course (only those with closed toe shoes will be allowed to do the adventure course).

4.) Linens (sheets) will be provided. Please bring bathroom necessities, a towel, water bottle, workout clothes, leotards, swimsuit, tennis shoes, grips, snacks for the room, umbrella, sunscreen, blanket and any spending money you wish to have. We are doing a Red, White and Blue Day, Animal print Day, and Blue Devil Day, so bring your over the top outfits!
